Call for participants! Mixed reality game for older powered chair users at the University of Toronto

By katie on February 2, 2016

Are you an older adult aged 55+ who uses a powered chair, such as a mobility scooter or electric wheelchair? We’re interested in recruiting you and a friend or family member who doesn’t use a powered chair for our study. We are evaluating a two-player cooperative game that involves the use of powered chairs by both participants. The study is divided into two parts. The first part will take place at the Leslie Dan building downtown (near Queen's Park subway station, which is accessible) in February. It will take about 1.5 hours and each of you will receive $40 as compensation for participation and travel. The second part is a 30-minute interview that will take place about one month later. You can be interviewed over the phone or in-person, and will be compensated $20, plus $10 if you travel.

If interested, please email the principal investigator at kseaborn@mie.utoronto.ca.
