Mixed Reality Mobility Games Ready For Testing On iPhone

By MajuraM on July 5, 2013

Mixed Reality Mobility Games (Scooter Game) has finally been implemented onto the iPhone platform and is ready to be tested. It surely was a challenging task, due to the fact that both the Android and iPhone platforms have many UI controls which are in common, but at the same time they also have certain controls which are strictly designed to their native platforms. For example, when creating check boxes and drop down menus with Android, it was simple and easy. As for iPhone, check boxes are simple on/off switches by design, so in order to over come this problem we had to visually design an "empty square" in which displays a check mark when pressed.  Another UI controller issue with the iPhone is that they don't have drop down controllers like the Android platform, instead they have something called "pickers" or "spinners", which now works perfectly with the application. Next phase, implement the application onto the tablet and ipad interfaces. "Piece of Cake! I Think?"
